One of Nigeria’s leading female disc jockey, Faith Uche Stevens, often known as “DJ Electra,” has been announced as one of the new brand ambassadors for Vandrezzer FC, the reigning Champions of Lagos FA Cup.
On Monday, July 4, 2022, the music mixer secured a one-year sponsorship deal with the Lions of Naija as part of the team’s plan to improve the entertainment component of its fan experience.
Speaking to the club’s website, VFC COO Kingsley Ogbonna had this to say;
“We believe that DJ Electra possesses what we look out for in an ambassador, she is talented in her craft, very hardworking and has shown massive passion for our vision”
Electra, an alumni of the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), a White House Initiative Program of the United States Government, expressed her gratitude and pledged to repay what she refers to as a “privilege.”
“I feel absolutely delighted! It’s a huge honour and privilege for me to be endorsed by this wonderful football club and I know we will achieve great things. I fell in love with the club from the first day I encountered them and since then, the love has grown in leaps and bounds. God willing, we shall be Victorious Together!”.
In addition to being a member of the club’s fan interaction and publicity team, DJ Electra would serve as the official disc jockey for all NNL side events (match days and other club functions).
