Nnewi United FC is a professional football team situated in Anambra state. It was formed in 2012, and it’s home ground is the Rojenny Stadium.
Nnewi United currently play in the Southern Conference B2 of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Owner/Chairman: Olisa Onuchukwu. He is Nigeria ex-international footballer with playing experiences in Nigeria, Yugoslavia, China, Austria & Germany. He sustained an injury playing for VFL Bochum under coach Benard Dietz in an international friendly match, VFL Bochum Germany vs FC Metz France, on 17-11-1999 in Bochum Rohr Stadion in Germany which led to my premature & unceremonious retirement in the year 2002.
