Kazeem Bolaji Soliu in action for Spartak Trnava

19-year-old Bolaji has been out for two months due to an injury he sustained last season in the quarter final of the Slovan Cup

FC Spartak Trvnava’s Kazeem Bolaji Soliu made his debut in the European conference League when the club faced Newton Fc.

The former Team360 FC of Lagos youngster came in for Martin Mikovic in the 68th minutes.

19-year-old Bolaji has been out for two months due to an injury he sustained last season in the quarter final of the Slovan cup where they eventually won the trophy.

“I’m glad am back and stronger,” Bolaji said after the game.

“Not only am I really happy to be back to the pitch but to also make my debut in the European championship, it’s not been easy for me staying out for long but thank God am back and feeling stronger.

“I thank my coaches, teammates and my manager Mr Hamza Akeem for the moral support, he concluded.

Elated about the player’s performance, CEO/President of Team360 FC, Mr Hamza Akeem expressed his joy to see the player in action again.

“We are glad he is back and most importantly it’s a joy to behold seeing one of our product who have been with us since age 12 now playing in European Conference League.

“It is a great achievement for us as a team, and most importantly the player who has been working so hard to be where he is now.”

Spartak Trnava defeated Newton FC 4-1 with another Nigerian Bamidele Yusuf grabbing a hatrick while Alex Ivan completed the route.
