Team360 FC of Lagos has confirmed that one of the club’s graduate Abdullahi Tanko just completed a moved to Fk Vansdorf in Czech Republic Second division.
The prolific striker who started his professional football in Portugal featured for clubs such as SC Villarreal, G.D. Chavez, Gil Vicente , Valadare Gaia and lastly Salguiroes in the Campeonate division played total of 169 games scoring of 65 goals playing as a winger.
Tanko will be wearing jersey No20 for Fk Vansdorf in the upcoming Fortuna National Liga season.
The 24-year-old expressed that it’s a new challenge and adventure for him having played in Portugal for five years. He also stated that he is ready to hit the ground running after impressing the Head coach of Vansdorf with 3 goals and 4 assist in preseason friendly games.
“I’m happy with the move to Czech, and I am going to give in my best in the upcoming season as it’s a new challenge for me,” Tanko told Team360 media.
“It’s a new environment, new language and everything but I thank my coach, management and team mates who have made me settle down easily.
“I am playing my natural position as a striker here and am happy about that, he concluded.”
Fk Vansdorf will be playing it’s first league game on 31/07/2022 against Opava when the league kicksoff.
