Team Brazil suffered a 3-1 loss to Team Nigeria in their opening match of the 2022 Unified Cup.
Nigeria won the encounter courtesy of goals from Olawale Sulaimon, Lateef Aborishade, and Mojeed Akinyelu.
The highlight was Mojeed’s free-kick goal which he scored from 23 meters away from the goal post.
The United States of America will be Team Nigeria’s opponent in their second match today, which will begin at 11 a.m. (ET) and 2pm (NGA).
Their third group game will be against fellow African, Morocco.
