27 young boys and girls from Nigeria will go through a summer camp that involves football training and tours to Premier League clubs.

The participants of the Team Nigeria UK Summer Camp have arrived in London.

The summer camp is an initiative led by Team Nigeria UK and supported by Premier League side, Southampton FC.

According to the organisers, the involvement of girls is to make a statement as regards their commitment to the development of women’s football in Nigeria.

The summer camp starts today with some site seeing at places like Bournemouth while the Training, and games will kick off tomorrow by Southampton FC Academy coaches.

The kids will also have the chance to watch the premier league game between Southampton and Leeds United at St Mary’s Stadium this Saturday.

Another edition will come up in Easter 2023 and Applications are now open
