Tobi Adepoju admonished the management of the Nigeria National League to be more professional in their conducts.

Ikorodu City FC’s Director of Football, Tobi Adepoju has admitted that being an administrator of a club in the Nigeria National League is a tall order.

Ikorodu City FC joined the second division of Nigeria league football in the 2021/2022 season finished with 29 points.

Tobi who is also a journalist confessed that the league’s structure was a big disadvantage to his team.

“The environment was tedious, and playing in the NNL wasn’t easy. The challenges with the League structure also affect business policy, Tobi said on Twitter.

“We were able to retain our NNL status.”

He went on to thank members of the Ikorodu City board of directors for the efforts they put in making the Oga Boys well run.

“I’m honored to work with the best team in the Management, Sanmi, Kay, Pooja, Quadry & our President.

“Sam & Vikseen did an amazing job in the media dept.”

While hoping for an impressive 2022/2023 season, Tobi Adepoju admonished the body in charge of the Nigeria National League to be more professional in their conduct.

“We hope the NNL board will step up the organization of the League & also have a consistent calendar that won’t be an overburden for private clubs.”
