The head coach of the squad, Damilare Jaiyeola, said the new players were chosen based on their performances in the screening exercise and added that Eletu Queens are prepared for the championship.

Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, a Lagos-based team in the Nigeria Women Football League Championship, has unveiled six new players ahead of the upcoming campaign.

For the upcoming season, the club has been successful in securing the services of Abdulazeez Aishat, Laniran Kate, Oladungbewo Taiwo Adejumo Temitope, Oyewunmi Temitope, and Enigbokan Adefunke.

The club is one of the teams that gained promotion from the NWFL Nationwide to the NWFL Championship.

The head coach of the squad, Damilare Jaiyeola, said the new players were chosen based on their performances in the screening exercise and added that Eletu Queens are prepared for the championship while speaking at the unveiling ceremony held at the club owner’s home in Lagos.

“We are here to announce officially to the club management and media that we have recruited good and better players ahead of the new season. I am happy that all the players were selected from various states such as Lagos, Oyo, Ekiti, and the Benin Republic. This is to tell you that we are coming to the league with a formidable team and I believe that we would have a good outing at the end of the season,” Jaiyeola told Newsmen
