Iloenyosi said that he has researched the sports industry and the government's policy stressing that it will assist the state in reclaiming its glory in the nation.

Anambra State Football Association Chairman Chikelue Iloenyosi said the association remains committed to grassroots development.

Since taking over as FA Chairman, Iloenyosi has held conversations with the state’s deputy governor and other residents who are interested in supporting the state’s football program and its development plan.

He stated that he has taken the time to research the sports industry and the government’s policy, which focuses more on grassroots development, stressing that it will assist the state in reclaiming its glory in the nation.

The former Nigerian international told Wakawaka Sports Extra that he paid a courtesy visit to every football tournament organisers in the region and had fruitful discussions with the directors.

Iloenyosi said the next coaching clinic would assist former football players in the state in integrating with the new coaching style and guiding them toward fulfilling retirement lives.

He also remarked that the time when former football players were ignored in the state was over and that they would now play a vital role in his administration, which would be prosperous for the growth of the game there.
