G-Innovation FC has stated that they are prepared to become champions of the 18th Mike Okonkwo Football Competition.
The Conquistadors have been exciting so far. In the group stages, they played out a 1-1 draw with Wealthy Place FC, then went on to lose 0-1 to Ajuwa FC before thrashing Engee FC 6-1 to book a place in the round of 16.
Be Arena was defeated 2-0 by G-Innovation to advance to the quarterfinals. Conquistadors went on to defeat Ajuwa FC 6-5 on penalties to get to the semifinals, where they defeated Samjason FC 1-0 to advance to the final.
G-Innovation will now take on Aux Exclusive Media FC in the final of the tournament.
An overjoyed Chigozie Edwin Nwagwu, President of G-Innovation, expressed his happiness with the performances of his team in the competition after receiving the ticket to the final in a press conference.
He reiterated his commitment to doing everything possible to assist and motivate his team to win the championship game.
