Kotech Coach Uche Okeke has asked his players to step up their game so as to enable them win the Ikeja Divisional Football Super Four League Play-Off.
The Ikeja Super League playoff commenced yesterday at the Lagos rehabilitation facility, Ojodu Berger.
Despite Kotech’s 3-0 win over NAFRC in their opening game, Okeke admitted he was not happy with his players’ performances.
“I am not satisfied with my team’s performance despite our victory over our opponents. We started well but our second half was not too impressive. Our opponents played better in the second half but thank God that they did not convert their chances,” he said.
A loss or draw in their upcoming match against Flying Baton, according to Okeke, would be a severe setback for the team in the super league competition.
In other games, Flying Baton defeated Olusosun United 2-1. Magboro whitewashed R2 Finesse 6-1 in the championship super four league, and Bucknor overcame Magic Stars Feeder 3-2.
The Super-Four League is back in action today, with Flying Baton taking on Kotech at 1 pm and NAFRC taking on Olusosun United at 3 pm.
In the championship super four league play-off, Bucknor and Finesse FC will do battle, while Magboro will play host to magic Stars feeder.
