Honorable Princewill Amuchie has congratulated football teams in Aboh Mbaise LGA for the success recorded in competitions they participated.
Princewill admitted to being unsurprised that football has started to develop in the region to Wakawaka Sports Extra.
He recalled how he had helped teams succeed in the past and pledged to continue doing so.
In the past month, four teams owned by members of the local government have triumphed in four different championships around the nation.
At the Art of Sports Football competition, CENN Foundation FC of Nguru emerged as champions.
They were followed by the Ibeku Okuator team, which won the Ikukuoma Mbaise Unity Cup, and G Innovation, which won the MOFC trophy in Lagos.
Platinum FC of Oke Ovoro Mbaise was also recently crowned champions of the Imo State Football League.
