Organizers of the Optima Energy Gold Cup have released the draws for this year’s edition.
Remo Stars, Niger Tornadoes, and Sunshine Stars who are former champions are all in Group A alongside debutants Sporting Lagos and Mavlon FC.
Gombe United, Shooting Stars, Ekiti United, FC Ebedei, and Beyond Limits will slug it out in group B, with the FC Ebedei Stadium in Sagamu adopted as their match venue.
The tenth edition of the Optima Energy Gold Cup (Formerly known as Ogunjobi Gold Cup) will commence on September 22.
The Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne and FC Ebedei Stadium in Sagamu have been adopted as venues for the group stage.
The final of the 2022 Optima Energy Gold Cup will take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on the 62nd anniversary of Nigeria’s Independence Day.
