Madiba FC emerged victorious after 90 minutes of exciting football, winning the FCT-based team by a lone goal.
Both teams pressured until the 28th minute of the game when Rabiu Nurudeen scored the game’s opener to put the Oshodi boys ahead.
Before halftime, Malantarki had a chance to tie the game up, but Madiba FC can thank goalkeeper Mohammed Tijani for making a classy stop to keep the player from FCT from doing so.
Madiba FC entered the locker room at halftime with relief, while Mailantarki Care was left to lament their poor defending.
Mailantarki Care’s FC attempt to score an equalizer in the second half was futile as Madiba FC held their defence under lock and ran away with the win.
