Two games at the Obafemi Awolowo Nursery and Primary School field in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, marked the beginning of the third edition of the Ereke Reloaded football competition.
Grace FC and Unity FC engaged in the first match of the year’s edition after the opening ceremony.
After the first game, Grace FC records a win over Unity FC 2-0, scoring twice in each half.
The second Group A match ended in a 1-1 draw between Mayflower and Young Stars.
With three points, Grace FC leads Group A ahead of Mayflower and Young Stars, each with one point. Unity FC, with no points, is in last place in Group A.
The organising committee for the competition, which will run from October 11 to November 2, includes Okunuga Tola (Chairman Organizing Committee),
Sonubi Kunle (Secretary),
Akodu Wasiu, Olusola Omoyemi, Idowu Sofowora, and Akitoye Adeyemi.
