Perfect Touch FC and Phoenix ASC will be providing the funds for the sponsorship of the education of selected outstanding football players in the Ekiti FA Scholarship Scheme.

Recall that about 11 beneficiaries of the education and sports scholarship last year were funded by some philanthropists and organisations in the state.

Perfect Touch FC, Ikole Ekiti, and Phoenix Athletics Sports Club, Ado Ekiti, are the recent addition to the list of philanthropists, the State FA confirmed in a news on its website.

The clubs will also provide free football training and supply them with football kits as contained in the Memorandum of Understanding and Parental Consent signed by all parties concerned.

For proper coordination and monitoring, the State FA has however appointed Mr. Saberedowo Kazeem Kolawole, the Ijero Local Football Council Scribe as the coordinator for the scheme with the Chairman of Ekiti state chapter of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, PFAN, Mr. Seun Omoyajowo as member, while Mr. Dayo Folajimi AKA Alaska, the scribe of both Ikole Local Football Council and YSFON, Ekiti chapter, will serve as the scribe for the 3 – man committee
