The club confirmed that three players will join Spanish side CD Leganes while the other three depart for Sporting Viana in Portugal.

Six players from Buruj Football Academy will be leaving the shores of the country to ply their trade in Europe this January.

The club confirmed that three players will join Spanish side CD Leganes while the other three depart for Sporting Viana in Portugal.

The club’s goalkeeper Edet Inyang, Chinonso Sunday (Defender), and Clifford Ayangan (Striker) are expected at the Segunda division side while the club captain Noah Salaudeen, Ahmed Ogande, and Peter Joel move to Portugal.

Buruj Football Academy President, Mr. Waheed Salaudeen said: “we thank God for granting us this privilege, we know our players will not disappoint especially now that the window has opened for us to see them leaving from here to Europe which is majorly the purpose of this our academy.”

According to the club, the players have fulfilled all requirements to seal the move from the Nationwide League side.
