Mahanaim Football Club and Nigeria U-20 forward Haliru Sarki has signed for United Arab Emirates giants Al Ain Football Club.
The 19-year-old forward represented Nigeria at the recently concluded FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina. He was said to be on the radar of many clubs in Europe following an impressive performance at the tournament.
Abuja-based Mahanaim FC announced in an official statement that a long-term agreement had been reached with Al Aian FC.
According to Al Ain FC, Sarki will start his journey at the club with the reserves and also wear jersey number 77.
