Solomon Agbalaka has joined Russian club PFC Sochi on a season-long loan deal.

Broad City and Flying Eagles defender Solomon Agbalaka has joined Russian club PFC Sochi on a season-long loan deal.

19-year-old Agablaka was part of the Flying Eagles bronze medalist squad at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and a quarter-finalist at the FIFA U-20 World Cup earlier this year.

The left-back was named in the Team of the Tournament at the U-20 AFCON hosted by Egypt.

Agbalaka reportedly turned down offers from German and Belgian clubs to team up with Sochi.

Apart from playing for Broad City FC in the Nigeria National League, Agbalaka has also featured for MFM FC.
