Beyond Limits FA and their seniors, Remo Stars are set to go head to head in the Ogun State FA Cup semi-final clash inside the Remo Stars Stadium Ikenne.

Both sides are flying high in their various leagues and will be looking to advance to the final when they meet tomorrow.

Below are some facts about the tie:

1. Remo Stars and Beyond Limits share the same stadium for training and home matches. Beyond Limits, established in 2016, is the feeder team of Remo Stars, founded in 2004. Beyond Limits changed its name to Beyond Limits on October 23, 2021.

2. Last year, in the same tournament and at the same stage, the academy boys beat their seniors 3-2, on March 2, 2023, to advance to the final. Beyond Limits played in the semi-final of the TCC Cup on the same day against Gbagada F.C Legacy Pitch, which they lost on penalties 6-5 before travelling back to Ijebu Ode for the Ogun Federation Cup semi-final.

3. Approximately 25,000 fans are expected at the stadium.

4. Both teams have been in good form recently, with Remo Stars sitting 3rd on the NPFL table with 45 points and a game in hand while Beyond Limits FA are currently placed second in the Nigeria National League with 28 points.

5. Head-to-head, Beyond Limits have won 2 out of 3 encounters with Remo winning 1, with an aggregate scoreline of 8-5 in favor of the feeder team.

6. Ahmed Akinleye and Stanley Joseph will be battling against their former academy since their promotion to the senior team, both players being in fantastic form this season under their coach.
