Nigeria U15 known as Future Eagles will no longer be participating in the UEFA U16 Tournament in Spain.
The Nigerian Football Federation disclosed in a statement that the players and officials were denied visas.
The statement read: “Players and officials of the Nigeria U15 team, Future Eagles, have been denied visas by the Spanish Embassy and will therefore not be travelling to take part in the UEFA U16 Development Tournament starting on Friday.”
The team has been training at the Remo Stars facility in Ikenne ahead of the tournament and have played some friendly matches against Beyond Limits FA.
