Beyond Limit FA former midfielder, Samad Popoola will now play in the Portuguese 1st National Junior Division after his side CD Feirense U19 conquered the second division.
CD Feirense defeated Nogueirense FC 2-1 in their last match with Ivo Almeida and Pedro Oliveira scoring for the champions.
Samad, a defensive midfielder joined CD Feirense earlier in the year and played a significant role in the promotion registering two goals and one assist in the season.
While back in Nigeria, the Osogbo-born won the TCC League with Beyond Limits and also played a vital role in their promotion to the Nigeria National League division. Samad, nicknamed ‘Beast’ from his time at Beyond Limits, has won many Man of the Match awards.
