Mukhtar Adam has reportedly become the new Sporting Lagos U19 captain following the promotion of Odinaka Okoro to the senior team.
The 16-year-old defensive midfielder got his first responsibility leading his mates to a 2-2 draw against Admiralty Football Club in their 2024 Nigeria Nationwide League opener.
Adam also was also captain in the win against Real Sapphire in The Creative Championship Cup semi final where they booked a date with Beyond Limits in the final.
He has been one of the standout players in the TCC League this season.
