The coach of Nigeria’s U17 team, Manu Garba, has announced the squad that will represent the country in the upcoming WAFU B Championship, scheduled to take place in Ghana. 

The Golden Eaglets are hoping to defend their title in the competition, which is set to begin on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.  

The team is expected to arrive in Accra on Saturday and will play against Burkina Faso next week on Thursday. They will also face Niger Republic and Togo in subsequent matches.  

Earlier, rumours circulated that many of the players had failed the MRI scan, but the Nigeria Football Federation dismissed these reports as false.
