Gbagada FC has said the club will now play all home games at the Gbagada Araromi Youth Hub in Gbagada, Lagos.

The club Chairman and Manager Olajide Akinyelu said to Myleaguewire that the team will no longer play at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium and Legacy pitch after this season.

”We have been playing away all along,”Olajide said.

”The fans of Blue Eagles can now have the opportunity of watching their team play at home. The stadium has seen a face lift and expanded in width and length.”

The Araromi playground was renovated by Coca Cola in 2016 has experienced a transformation facilitated by the state government. The center boasts of a brand new pitch and spectator stand.

Gbagada who play in the Nationwide League, Nigeria’s third tier as well as The Creative Championship League TCC had previously used Legacy pitch inside the National Stadium Lagos in the past.
