Nigeria U17 team has been cleared by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after excellent MRI test result conducted on all 20 players.
Information from the camp of the Eaglets suggests that there is no cause for alarm as they prepare to begin their campaign.
The team’s media officer Francis Achi shared on X that the player were eligible and had been cleared.
The Golden Eaglets will kick-start their campaign against Burkina Faso at the University Stadium on Thursday, 16th May before matches against Niger Republic on Sunday, 19th May and Togo on Wednesday, 22nd May.
The match against Niger Republic will also hold at the University Stadium while the clash with Togo will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The MRI is often undertaken to ascertain the ages of players participating in the youth competition.
