Muktar Adam has been promoted to the senior team’s training sessions following the conclusion of the U17 season.
The 18-year-old defensive midfielder from Sporting Lagos’ U17 team was a standout player who was named to the TCC Team of the Season 23/24.
Myleaguewire understands that Adam has been training with the senior team for two weeks.
He follows in the footsteps of Odinaka Okoro, the former U17 captain, who was also promoted to the senior team by former coach Paul Offor.
However, Adam will not be eligible to participate in the Gothia Cup tournament in Sweden on July 14, 2024, due to age restrictions.
