The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Magaji, welcomed the organisers of the Kwara State/FA Sport Showcase program to his office.
The delegation, led by Mr. Olawale Olatoye, Mr. Ayodeji Adegbenro, and Alhaji Abdulrasaq Owolabi Agbaji, toured the state’s sporting facilities, including the Kwara State Stadium Complex and the newly built Squash Court.
Magaji praised the initiative, aligning with the state government’s grassroots development project.
“We are committed to developing sports at the grassroots level, and this scouting program aligns with our objectives. We are happy to support this program and provide necessary facilities for its success,” Magaji said.
The Chairman emphasised the importance of nurturing talent in the state, urging stakeholders to support the initiative.
The organisers presented souvenirs to the Chairman and Director of Sports.
The Kwara State/FA Sport Showcase is scheduled for July 15th-18th, 2024.
