Sporting Lagos U17 will leave Nigeria on July 5th, 2024, to participate in the prestigious Gothia Cup tournament in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The team has been drawn in Group 5 alongside America’s Norcal Premier PDP, and two Swedish teams; IFK Norrkoping and Mjallby IAF.
Myleaguewire understands that Sporting Lagos will make a stop in Denmark for a series of friendly matches, playing at least two games before proceeding to Sweden for the competition.
A squad of 17 players has been selected to represent the team in the Gothia Cup.
The tournament will take place between 14th to 20th July 2024.
