A contingent from AA Aztec Football Academy has arrived Portugal for a month-long trial with Clube Atlético de Macedo de Cavaleiros.
The Ibadan-based team comprised of 10 players and 3 officials, departed for Portugal on July 2, 2020, for the program.
The players will participate in a scouting program with Club Athletico, marking an exciting opportunity for the young athletes to develop their talents in a foreign football landscape.
Macedo de Cavaleiros currently plays in the Segunda Divisão Série Norte, which is the third tier of Portuguese Football.
The boys were led by the team’s president Prince Ademola Olawepo Shennowo.
