Nigerian youngster Hassan Muhammad has signed a five-year contract with NK Lokomotiva.

The 18-year-old who was spotted in a scouting tournament in Kaduna joins the Croatian topflight team from Ojodu City, Journalist Lolade Adewuyi reports.

Muhammad, an attacking midfielder, played for Unity FC Kaduna in the scouting games and then moved to the Lagos-based Ojodu City before making his European leap.

According to an official of the Ojodu Tigers, Muhammad has already started training and he will be announced officially by NK Lokomotiva soon.

Speaking on the transfer Paul Ogunlaja, Sporting Director at Ojodu City FC told Muleaguewire that the club is excited about the development.

“We have been doing a lot of work in the past two years, and its dividends are beginning to pay off.”

“Over 11 of our players are outside on tryouts due to the wonderful season they have had, and also remember our player at Chelsea also doing wonders. It shows we are not here to sleep at ojodu city.”
