Nigerian youngster Shehu Sulaiman has completed a move to Finnish side SJK from Stars Builders Academy

Sulaiman signed a two-year contract with the club which also includes a one-year extension option for the 2027 season.

The 18-year-old was announced today by the Seinajoki-based club after spending about six weeks with the team.

Sulaiman has already featured in two League matches for the reserves, first in a victorious home match against Käpylä Pallo and then in an away match in Kotka that was fought to a draw.

“We are really glad that Sulaiman is making this move,” Ayodeji Adegbenro, the Chief Executive of Stars Builders Academy told Myleaguewire.

“He has the talent and the skillsets to be a world-class player, and I have no doubt that he will make it to the top.”

Sulaiman was invited to the Nigeria U17 team ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations but did not make the final cut to the championship.

Stars Builders Academy currently plays in the third tier of Nigerian football, the Nationwide League (NLO), and Sulaiman was the club’s vice-captain.
