Former Ikorodu City striker Paul Aderibigbe has completed a move to Maltese club Mosta FC.

Aderibigbe moved to Malta from Dannaz FC, an academy based in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

“I’m about to walk into one of the best chapters of my life,” – Aderibigbe said on X/Twitter.

The 22-year-old was part of team that secured Ikorodu City’s promotion from the country’s second division, the Nigerian National League to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Aderibigbe became popular among fans on social media following his spectacular goal against Warri Wolves in a league game last season.

Aderibigbe returned to his parent club Dannaz FC at the end of the season after spending two seasons on loans at Ikorodu City. The news of the player’s return to his academy saw a section of fans bashing Ikorodu for not renewing his contract. See comments under the tweet below:

Mosta FC has played three games so far this season without a win and would be counting on the scoring prowess of Aderibigbe.

He joins seven other Nigerians who currently play for the club.
