The Katsina State chapter of the Youth Sport Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) will face off against their Kano State counterparts in the grand final of the North-West Football Championship’s under-17 category.
The highly anticipated match takes place at Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Katsina YSFON secured their spot in the final by defeating host team Kaduna 2-0 in the semi-finals.
This comes on the heels of their victory in the President Bola Ahmed Tinuba Under-18 Tournament, where they triumphed over YSFON Kwara State chapter.
Under the leadership of Chairman Alhaji Aminu Ahmed Wali, Katsina’s young talents have dominated the tournament with four consecutive wins, highest goal tally, top goal scorer and most clean sheets (defenders and goalkeepeer).
