Despite interest from these clubs, the former Ojodu City striker opted for a four-year deal with the French club citing personal reason.

Adeshina Ayodele, 18, a product of Beyond Limits Football Academy. He has earned himself a reputation as a clinical finisher with remarkable potential.
Shina’s standout moment came when he made history in the Creative Championship Cup by scoring five goals in a single match against Dannaz FC, becoming the first player to achieve this feat in the competition’s history. “Shina” as he is called also hit five goals in seven matches at the Viareggio Cup earlier this year for his side.
This impressive performance caught the attention of French club Lille OSC, who signed him to a five-year contract.
Lille OSC, known for nurturing Nigerian talent, is excited about Shina’s potential, drawing comparisons to notable Nigerian players like Vincent Enyeama, Osaze Odemwingie, and Victor Osimhen. Shina’s success at Beyond Limits FA includes multiple trophies and promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Since joining the B side of Les Dogues, he has scored a total of five goals in 14 appearances across all competitions.
As he continues to develop with Lille’s B team, the future looks very promising for “Shina” as he embarks on an exciting career on the global stage.
Koarobo Arierhi (Beyond Limits Football Academy)
Kparobo Arierhi’s rise to prominence is a tale of exceptional talent, unwavering determination, and outstanding achievements. His performances at the U20 WAFU B Championship in Togo have catapulted him into the spotlight, showcasing his immense potential as one of Nigeria’s brightest football prospects.
Kparobo’s contribution to Nigeria’s triumph at the WAFU B tournament was instrumental, scoring three goals, including a brace in the final against Ghana. His impressive display earned him the coveted “Man of the Match” award, underscoring his skill and ability to thrive under pressure.
Beyond his international success, Kparobo dominated the Creative Championship League, netting an unprecedented 22 goals in 15 matches, and securing the Golden Boot award in the 2023/2024 season. His impressive tally demonstrates his consistency and prowess as a prolific forward.
His success extends to his performances at the prestigious Virraggio Cup in Italy earlier in 2024, where he scored five goals in six appearances, solidifying his reputation as a force to be reckoned with in international competitions.
Kparobo begins his professional chapter come in 2025 having signed for Eliteserien club, Lillestrom in Norway.
Yusuf Abdullahi (Sporting Lagos FC)
Yusuf Abdullahi, 17, is reported to have joined Spanish club Leganés following an agreement reached between Sporting Lagos and the La Liga side.
Abdullahi was an integral part of the team that secured Sporting Lagos Academy’s first-ever international tournament victory at the Gothia Cup in Sweden, where they triumphed in style. Yusuf also scored in the final against FC Tokyo, contributing to their emphatic win.
During the previous season with his club, he netted an impressive 29 goals solidifying his reputation as one of the top talents in the academy. His finishing ability has made him one of the most exciting young players in the academy.
After being promoted to the senior team, Abdullahi made an immediate impact, scoring against Solution FC in the Nigeria National League.
All things being equal, Abdullahi is expected to move abroad in the January window.
