Nigerian youngster, Abbati Abdullahi has joined polish club Górnik Zabrze from Sporting Supreme FC.
Abdullahi, who celebrated his 19th birthday just three weeks ago, has signed a contract with the 14-time Polish champions until June 2028, with an option to extend.
The club’s Sports Director Łukasz Milik said Abdullahi was scouted during a tournament in Nigeria, where he impressed with his speed, agility, dribbling, and technique.
“He has great potential for the future,” Milik said.
“We want him to adapt quickly to the European and Polish style of play.”
Abdullahi underwent medical tests, including endurance, power, and strength assessments, before initialing his contract.
“I’m very pleased to join Górnik,” he said. “The stadium is impressive, and everyone at the club is very nice. My strengths are my speed, dribbling, and shooting skills.”
Abdullahi will train with the second team until the first team returns from their training camp in Turkey. He has already made a strong impression, scoring a goal in a friendly match against Rozwoj Katowice.
