The league board of the Kwara U-12 YEG League has signed a sponsorship agreement with Mobrimah Foundation and Beyond Creativity media company.

The ceremony was held in the conference room of Kwara Football Academy on Wednesday.

“This is a groundbreaking deal that signals a new dawn for football development in Kwara State and Nigeria. We are happy to have our sponsors join us in making history as we invest in the future of football in Nigeria”. said the COO

Speaking at the event as well, Abdullahi Abdulhameed, a representative of the Mobrimah Foundation, stated that the sponsorship drive was motivated by the foundation’s core principles, which, among other things, are geared towards the emancipation of people at the grassroots and assisting the less fortunate in realizing their dreams.

“The league has created a platform for  young footballers to display their talents and we believe that the synergy between us and the league board will aid their long-term aspirations”

In his remarks, Abdullahi Loke, a representative of the Beyond creative media company, expressed happiness at being a part of the development, which he claimed would continue to serve as a benchmark for Nigerian football’s growth.

The sponsorship agreement will cover the costs of logistics, matchday and monthly awards for players and coaches, training aids for each of the 12 teams in the league, media exposure and leverage, and hosting a gala and award ceremony after the season to recognize all the stakeholders.
