The Creative Championship 2022/23 League season continued on Sunday as Gbagada FC of Lagos, Dino SC of Ogun, and Atlantic Business FC of Lagos won their respective games.
Gbagada FC edged Dannaz FC by 1-0, with Sanda Gabriel registering his name on the scoresheet late in the 82nd minute of the game.
Gabriel was named Man of the Match for the Lagos-based club side for rescuing his team in this encounter.
On the other hand, Sporting Lagos and Atlantic Business FC kept things going as early as the second minute of the game.
Simeon Umeh scored the opener for Sporting Lagos in the 2nd minute. They weren’t done with their goal celebration before their opponent equalized in the third minute to keep the scoreline level.
Both teams searched for a lead before the halftime whistle, but nothing was forthcoming.
Abiodun Mustapha’s 63rd-minute strike put Atlantic Business FC in the lead, but there was an equalizer again through Akekoromowei Godspower’s spot kick in the 86th minute, canceling the lead.
The game wasn’t over, as a late goal from Kingsley Odima in the 90th minute dashed the hope of Sporting Lagos from earning a point from the contest.
Abiodun Mustapha was awarded Man of the Match in this thrilling encounter.
Dino SC was also in action against Imperial in a match that saw three goals. The home side were victors for the day as they defeated imperial 2-1 in their first game of the season.
