Mavlon FC, Ojodu City and Beyond Limits FA secured maximum points in their first group games at the ongoing 74th Viareggio Cup in Italy.
The 2022 edition finalists, Alex Transfiguration was the only Nigerian team that lost its first group match after playing 0-1 to Pontedera.
Beyond Limits FA thumped Carrarese 6-0, Mavlon FC defeated Avellino 4-1 and Ojodu City beat Imolese 2-1.
The matchday two kicks off today with Beyond Limit set to play Stella Rosa and Alex Transfiguration will face Brazilian side Ibrachina. Mavlon FC are set to play Jรณvenes Promesas while Ojodu City FC prepares to face Melbourne FC on Thursday 15th February 2024.
