Beyond Limits FA Head Coach Olumide Ajibolade has been named assistant coach of the Nigeria U17 male football team.

The young Sky Blues boss will work alongside experienced tactician Mau Garba who was appointed last week.

Myleaguewire understands that the former Westerlo and Clique Sports coach will depart for the U17 camp on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. 

The team is preparing for next month’s WAFU B U17 Championship in Ghana.

Olumide recently guided his team to a 4th TCC title and won the Viareggio Cup in Italy for the first time for an African country.

He has won the TCC League, Viareggio Cup World Football Tournament, Ogun Federation Cup, and Value Jet Cup.

He embarked on a learning tour across Europe in 2022 where he met and interfaced with youth team directors and coaches in Spain, Germany, Italy, and Portugal.

Coach Olumide Ajibolade started his journey from Ijoko Ogun State and is famous for nurturing talents. He has produced at least 27 players playing across Europe.
