Escola United has reportedly withdrawn from The Creative Championship League (TCC League) ahead of the upcoming season.
Despite a promising debut last season, the team struggled with form, particularly in the second phase, going seven matches without a win.
Escola United players consists of players scouted from the Leks Schools League and the reason for their withdrawal is yet to be ascertained.
The team’s overall performance was disappointing, with only two wins, four draws, and 16 losses.
They finished 19th on the log ahead of Iganmu United with 10 points from 22 games and a goal difference of -39.
The team captain Moyo Olukoyi earned himself a spot in the TCC Team of the Season following his impressive display.
The team had two coaches during the season, including Opeyemi Azeez, who resigned mid-season after leading Nigeria to win the Bayern Munich Youth Cup
