Three players from Beyond Limits, a Nigerian academy, are set to join Egyptian club Al Ittihad Alexandria.
Faruq Ogundare, Abdullahi Musa, and Olamilekan Adegboyega have reportedly agreed to sign with the club, following a successful negotiation between Beyond Limits and Al Ittihad Alexandria.
Faruq Ogundare, a standout attacking midfielder, was instrumental in Beyond Limits’ campaigns in the Creative Championship League (TCC), Nigeria National League (NNL), and Viareggio Cup in Italy. He was named Most Valuable Player in the NNL and Beyond Limits’ Player of the Season.
Olamilekan Adegboyega, a consistent right-winger, impressed with his goals and assists in the TCC, NNL, and Viareggio Cup. His goal against Torino FC in the Viareggio Cup was nominated for Goal of the Season during the academy’s award ceremony.
A source disclosed that a club in Ukraine was interested in the services.
Abdullahi Musa, a skilled defensive midfielder, known for his ability to receive and progress the ball, as well as his marking skills.
The trio was discovered during a scouting program held at Remo Stars stadium earlier this month
