Nigeria has been placed in Group B for the African Schools Football Championship, alongside the Republic of Benin and Ivory Coast.

The draw for the third edition of the tournament took place in Lome, Togo.

Six countries will participate in the qualifiers, which is scheduled to be held in Niamey, Niger, from November 20 to 23, 2024.

Ghana will compete in Group A with Burkina Faso and the host nation, Niger.

The CAF African Schools Programme is a development initiative by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) aimed at organizing school football. The regional football body seeks to establish and maintain a competitive school football competition across the continent, encouraging young Africans to stay in school while participating in football.
