Former Sporting Lagos coach, Paul Offor, has been officially unveiled as the head coach of the newly-formed Grassrunners FC.
Offor’s appointment was announced in August after his proposed deal with Kano Pillars collapsed.
The 35-year-old helped Sporting Lagos FC to their first-ever Nigeria Professional Football League campaign but was sacked after falling out with the club on some grounds.
The former Warri Wolves assistant manager is known for his preference for the 4-3-3 formation.
Grassrunners FC will be playing int the country’s third division, the Nationwide League. The team will be using Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Remo as their home ground.
This marks a new chapter in his career as he looks to build and develop Grassrunners FC in the competitive world of grassroots football.
