Nigeria Professional Football League club, Sunshine Stars FC of Akure has promoted three exceptional players from its U19 squad to the first team.
Samuel Matthew, Christopher Richard, and Ariyo Ikulamberu have consistently impressed in the ongoing Nigeria Youth League Cup.
Director of Sunshine Abimbola Oladimeji said in an official statement: “Samuel, Christopher, and Ariyo have demonstrated outstanding skills and dedication, earning their promotion to the senior team. This milestone presents them with new challenges and opportunities to further develop their careers.”
Sunshine Stars U-19 are currently atop the N-Youth Southern Conference League table with 30 points from 11 matches after thrashing R2 Fitnesse 3-0 at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State.
