The Fusion football league is formerly known as the Surulere Regional League.

The organizing committee of Fusion football league have once again reassured participants of better initiatives this term.

The Fusion football league (formerly known as Surulere Regional League) has been a platform for talented youngsters to showcase the stuff they’re made of in front of scouts and potential suitors.

The league has yielded good reports with graduates of this league making a move to professional football leagues in Nigeria and beyond.

However,the president of 360 FC who doubles as a member of the Lagos organizing committee, Akeem Hamza says the organizers are motivated based on the achievements of previous editions and this seasons’ own will not be different.

“Any grassroots team or any player can engage in this, many players who played last season are now playing professionally abroad in different clubs, some are able to sign in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

“The whole idea is for us to use the league to prepare them for bigger challenges”

Hamza futher went on to say that the teams are eagerly awaiting for the commencement of the league.

“We did the first and second edition, now we’ve have the Fusion championship which is going to be bigger and better.

Many teams have started to show interest that they want to be part of us. You know th fusion league is filled with integrity and transparency.”

Super Eagles ‘legend, Kanu Nwankwo has thrown his weight behind this initiative has supported participating teams with kits.

Hamza stated that Kanu and other partners are queuing behind them for the 2022-23 season.

“We’re still hoping to have more partners that’d join us this season.”
