Yusuf Bamidele celebrating/FC Spartak Trnava

The 21-year-old Nigeria winger completed his hatrick before the end of first half scoring in the 41st and 44th minutes.

Obazz Fc’s graduate Yusuf Bamidele netted three goals for his club FC Spartak Trnava in their European Conference League campaign against Welsh side Newton on Thursday.

Bamidele opened scoring for the Slovan side in the 17th minute but it didn’t take long before the visitors equalised in the 23rd minutes through Henry Towans.

The 21-year-old Nigeria winger completed his hatrick before the end of first half scoring in the 41st and 44th minutes.

“I feel amazing,” Bamidele told the FC Spartak Trnava media.

“It was an incredible evening, in a super atmosphere created by the fans. I scored a goal with my head, right and left foot, a complete hat-trick, what more can I ask for.”

The match ended 4-1 in favour of FC Spartak Trnava with Alex Ivan’s 75th minute goal completing the route. The second qualifying round return leg will be played on Thursday 28th July 2022.
