The academy's graduates will be urged to use their leadership abilities to improve their local communities

The Asisat Oshoala Academy has officially begun operations, following its establishment in June 2022.

Five Time CAF Women’s footballer of the Year winner, Asisat Oshoala in June unveiled the project.

AOA will offer 90 minutes of football training three times a week to 30 females (ages 12 to 18).

A life skills component will be included to the program, addressing a variety of issues related to empowerment and human rights. The academy’s graduates will be urged to use their leadership abilities to improve their local communities.

‘She Plays’ activities will be held four times a year at the academy in addition to the weekly programming. The academy will host up to 100 schoolgirls each session as a result of these activities, which will expand the scope of the academy’s endeavors.
