Ottasolo FC President Gabriel Davis believes that the 2nd edition of his annual preseason tournament will be an exciting one.
Davis stated that it will also be used to rally support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate. The tournament will be known as the Ottasolo Support Tinubu tournament.
Otunba as he’s fondly called declared that he would not put a stop to it, adding that this year’s tournament will be different from the first.
“I will continue with the private preseason tourney in Nigeria but this year’s tourney is going to be will be in a new dimension we’ll call it Ottasolo support Tinubu tournament it is going to come up very soon”, He said to journalist on Sunday.
He continued by saying that he would stick with the twelve-team structure, which would include NPFL, NNL, and some Academy teams to allow them to compete against the big guns.
“We continue inviting the big club’s in the country from the NPFL and the NNL and some teams from the Academy we will do the same thing we did last year”, He concluded.
The coordinator added that each of the twelve teams will receive 500,000 naira (500,000) as an appearance fee.
“The second edition will be topnotch, we will be having 12 teams and each of these teams will have five hundred thousand naira as an appearance fee and we feel it is the way to go”, He stated.
The tournament will begin in two weeks in Lagos state.
