Team Kwara kept up their remarkable performance at the ongoing 19th edition of the Chief of Naval Staff Cup on Wednesday, defeating their Osun opponent 3-0 and setting up a quarterfinal clash against Ekiti State.
The boys from Bauchi defeated Team Kano 3-0 but were unable to advance due to Team Osun picking up the second ticket in group A.
They’ll however who play Enugu in one of the last eight games scheduled for Thursday.
While Edo State will be battling Oyo for one of the last four stage tickets, Kebbi will also be looking for a way to scale through the hurdles of Rivers State in another encounter billed for Kwara Football Academy.
In the female category, Kwara State girls thrashed the Nigerian Navy Secondary School girls 5-0 while Ekiti, who will face Benue in the last group stage match on Thursday at the Queen School by 12pm lost to Oyo State 3-0.
